The first step in beginning your Muay Thai Training is to find a good kickboxing class, gym or other facility that works with kick boxers.
Kickboxing is a sport that takes pride in its diverse Muay Thai Training population. Many kick boxers are also trained in karate, jiu jitsu, Muay Thai and kung fu. All of these things help with their Muay Thai Training. So, if you cannot find a place to train that is specific to kickboxing, somewhere that those martial arts forms are practiced is an acceptable place to begin.
Doing Muay Thai Training on your own rarely gets someone where they want to be. Instead of trying to get things done yourself, join a class or hire a personal instructor to teach you. An instructor will lay the foundation you need to get started and stay on the right path. They will monitor you and make sure that you are doing things correctly. This is important; especially for those of you who have never trained in any form of martial arts.
