You do not have to have aspirations to become a great fighter to enroll in a martial arts classes.
In fact, many people join simply to take advantages of the most basic elements of martial arts training. There are many more who wantto train but do not join a class because they feel intimidated by martial arts. This is because it is a misunderstood sport. There are many who feel that since it is a hands on fighting class, they will be manhandled and harmed. This is not true.
A good martial arts classes will have instructors that will begin at your own personal level and teach you and the other students how to properly execute the techniques without injury occurring to anyone. While it is true that there is danger involved in any form of martial arts, the risk is minimal when training with a professional instructor.
